- How to Arm Your Pack
PRACTICE SAFE SUP
The most important thing aside from fun, is safety. Every paddler should know their limits and paddle within them. Certain safety equipment can make your paddles both safer and more fun.
MTI FLUID 2.0 INFLATABLE PFD
The only Personal Floatation Device (PFD) we swear by. A minimalist fanny pack design is unobtrusive for any type of paddling. Whether it be yoga, touring, racing or anything else you can think of. A simple rip cord design inflates the deployable PFD via CO2 cartridge. Fully USCG approved, the choice is obvious.
SIZE: Adult Universal (30"-52")
USER: More than 80 LBS. and at least 16 YEARS OLD
USCG: Type lll
*The US Coast Guard officially classifies SUPs as vessels and requires every paddler to have a PFD on board at all times (except when paddling in a surf zone).
HOWZIT SUP ANKLE LEASH
Howzit stand up paddle leashes come in five great colors and fit great. The neoprene/velcro ankle strap provides pressure relief and reliable hold when paddling in the roughest conditions.
