Paddle control and efficiency is impulsed by using the top hand, arm and shoulder. When you start your stroke, coordinate this linkage for an efficient, and less stressful (Injury Prevention) technique. You will notice when focusing on this alignment how smooth and comfortable you will feel.

CUES:

  1. Keep a light touch don’t white knuckle your top and bottom hand.
  2. Use shoulder retraction and depression for shoulder joint health and power.
  3. Keep you cervical spine (NECK) in a neutral position and avoid flexion.
