The new Gen R excels in flat water, technical races, beach starts, and light to moderate open ocean conditions. Its lighter, slimmer build offers enhanced control, making it a versatile choice for everything from flat-water sprints to choppy downwind runs.

DESIGN CHANGES AND IMPROVEMENTS

NEW Thinner, Lighter, Faster Profile

  • The latest Gen R has a slimmer profile and reduced volume compared to the previous model, resulting in a lighter, quicker, and more agile ride. This is especially noticeable in side winds and beach starts.

NEW Round Rails Towards the Nose

  • The rounded rails near the nose enhance tracking and control in side winds, delivering an ideal mix of stability and precision.

NEW Extended Standing Area

  • Features an extended standing area that reaches further forward, making it easier to adjust your stance during sprints and downwind runs.

NEW Rockerline

  • The design merges the front-end shape of the previous Gen R with the tail characteristics of the All Star, delivering excellent control in choppy conditions and impressive acceleration on flatwater.

NEW Lower Standing Area

  • The updated Gen R has a standing area that's 1.5 cm lower than the previous version, lowering the rider’s center of gravity to enhance stability and control across all conditions.

NEW Recessed Handles

  • The recessed race handle provides a soft, comfortable grip, making it easier and more forgiving to carry the board. This is especially helpful during running beach starts.

NEW Nose Vee Shape

  • Engineered to shed water from the deck, this design boosts handling in chop and waves while adding extra “pop” in turbulent conditions.
